I can set up a background worker on render to basically just ping the supabase db every few days so it doesn't "pause due to inactivity" and then bingo bango we have a free database instance

The background worker thing didn't work since that isn't free to deploy, thus defeating the purpose. Bingo bango...
I've done some research, probably looked into about a dozen different services but none of them are exactly free.
I think the solution is to combine all of my databases into one with a dozen different tables or whatever. Should only cost about $5/month, which I can live with. That's a lot of work though so I likely won't get around to it for a couple weeks
