Curious about issues with Rev A #2

I'm curious about the issues you ran into with Rev A & USB-C mounting.

Context - I'm designing a rev 2 of a custom keyboard PCB. One of the things I'm thinking about is ditching a microcontroller and integrating AVR & USB-C natively on the PCB. I'm looking at reference Pro Micro clones to get a feel for the components & USB-C mounting.

I'd also like to know what the issues are and if you made any progress fixing them. I'd love to get a bunch of these assembled by JLCPCB.

Thanks a lot for your efforts!

Truthfully, I forget the issues I had with the Rev A board now --

Been too long since I've looked at it.

For the latest board, I've not been able to solder on the USB-C connector, even though I have one that is [in theory] capable of hand soldering.

I figure this is mostly because I am just a horrible klutz.

I just uploaded my Revision 'B' of the board -- which allows for both the USB-C port and a breakout board for the USB Micro connector.

My life got hectic at work and I'll be honest, I never got around to ordering this board, but working on it was part of my goal once life settled down a little.

I can't find an USB-C breakout board, as much as I'd love to have one.
