3 times Break mode dialog at startup #8

Hi

The add in is great and I am very thankful to you for this. It had been working fine. Recently when I changed my default template (replacing Blank.potx with another one), every time I start up I get below dialog box 3 times.

I soon found out it was because of Iguanatex. As soon as I remove it, my custom or default templates work fine (no such msgs while starting up). But when I bring it back, and even if I revert to my old blank.potx default template, the above msg appears 3 times. I have also tried repairing office but in vain. I could not locate the code of this in powerpoint to stop it or have a look at least.

Can you kindly advice how to solve this annoying issue? I do not want to remove iguanatex just to avoid this issue during startup.

Hi,

I don't think I've seen this one before. Maybe deleting the .pcb file as suggested here would help? You could also try reverting to a sligthly older version of Office. There is a post on StackOverflow we can refer to if we need to do some debugging down the road.

@Jonathan-LeRoux @parthi2929 Same issue. How can I uninstall it from my computer?

Jonathan-LeRoux commented 4 years ago

If you mean uninstalling IguanaTeX, you can do so in PowerPoint in File > Options > Add-ins, next to Manage select "Powerpoint add-in", click "Go", then "Remove".

Thank you, I tried to uninstall it, but I found I couldn't find it. I always got this message from Powerpoint after installing IguanaTeX. I used it once and later I didn't use it.

PowerPoint can't start this feature because you currently have a Visual Basic for applications project in break mode

You need to select Powerpoint add-in in the drop down menu, it won't be listed under COM add-ins.

I'm closing this issue as I haven't heard back from the original poster.
