Hm, the issue is present in the recorded trace.

Did you record the trace with D9VK?

Tested with DXVK 1352 and it doesn't freeze anymore. (also tested with D9VK 0.40.1 and yes, it freezes in the menus)

This issue can be safely closed.

edit: the apitrace is not available anymore
