wybm is a GUI application which can download videos from YouTube in WebM format and interactively cut them without reencoding. It's available for all major platforms. Click here to watch the demo.
Download latest release, unpack and run wybm.exe

You need to have ffmpeg and mkvtoolnix installed (use Homebrew). Download latest release, unpack, righ-click wybm
app in Finder, select Open and Open.

Install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86).
Make sure you're using the latest version of wybm. File an issue if problem still persists, most probably YouTube changed something on the site and youtube-dl upgrade is needed. NOTE: wybm will use system (i.e. in the PATH
) youtube-dl, ffmpeg and mkvinfo if available.
It takes a while before YouTube generates VP9 formats for a new video. Some old videos don't have VP9 or even VP8 version at all, but that's quite rare.
