Flix

Flix is an app that allows users to browse movies from the The Movie Database API.

[x] (5pts) User can tap a cell to see more details about a particular movie.
[x] (5pts) User can tap a tab bar button to view a grid layout of Movie Posters using a CollectionView.

[x] (2pts) User can tap a poster in the collection view to see a detail screen of that movie.
[x] (2pts) In the detail view, when the user taps the poster, a new screen is presented modally where they can view the trailer.

Th challenge that I faced was the merge conflict that I had with Github. For this issue, the Xcode project didn't allow me to load it up. I had to fix it first before continuing opening the project.
I was also spending quite a bit of time on doing the trailer view from the poster image

[x] (2pts) User sees an app icon on the home screen and a styled launch screen.
[x] (5pts) User can view and scroll through a list of movies now playing in theaters.
[x] (3pts) User can view the movie poster image for each movie.

App being developed on iphone 11 Pro Max

App can be viewed on iphone 8 with proper constraints and orientation

App can be viewed on a real device iphone 6 plus with proper constraints and orientation

Describe any challenges encountered while building the app.

Had an issue integrating an iphone device to Xcode.
Struggled with learning new concept of auto-layout
Xcode changed project target changed deployment target to macOS instead of iOS, had to change the settings and restarted the program
