Gale could suggest orphaned Configs to be deleted. It could change their text color to red and move them to the top of the config list under a new collapsible category.

How would it detect orphaned entries?

Yeah this is sadly not feasible. This is due to the fact config file names (and the metadata inside them) often doesn't correspond with the thunderstore name of a mod.

Also I feel like it's not that time consuming to go through and delete them manually. Having them lying around is not a big deal either, since they're just text files.
