Issue Description
This issue tracks the development of a new blog feature for the Earns Shop e-commerce website. The goal is to enhance our site's SEO and provide valuable content to our users related to skateboarding and hip-hop fashion. The blog will include articles, news updates, and guides.
User Stories
As a site admin, I want to: Be able to create, edit, and delete blog posts from the admin panel. Organize blog posts into categories (e.g., Skateboarding, Hip-Hop Fashion). Schedule posts for future publication.
As a site visitor, I want to: Read blog posts on various topics related to skateboarding and hip-hop fashion. View a list of all blog posts. Filter blog posts by categories. Share blog posts on social media. As a marketing manager, I want to:
Ensure each blog post is SEO optimized with custom meta tags, descriptions, and SEO-friendly URLs. Track engagement on blog posts through analytics.
Acceptance Criteria
Admin Functionality: Admins can easily create, edit, and delete blog posts in the admin panel. Blog posts can be categorized. Categories can be created, edited, and deleted. Posts can be scheduled for future publication.
User Engagement: Visitors can view, filter by category, and read blog posts. Blog posts are visually appealing and match the site's aesthetic. Social media share buttons are available for each post.
SEO and Analytics: Each blog post allows for custom SEO settings (meta tags, descriptions). Blog posts have user-friendly and SEO-optimized URLs. Integration with analytics tools to track user engagement on blog posts.
Technical Requirements The blog should be integrated as a Django app within the existing Earns Shop project. Use responsive design principles to ensure the blog is mobile-friendly. Ensure fast loading times and optimize images for web use.
Out of Scope Comment functionality for blog posts is out of scope for this phase.
Additional Notes This feature should align with the current branding and style guidelines of Earns Shop. All content must be legally compliant and original.
