Calendar

Following: the ical address of the public Cosmology Meetings Google calendar above is https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/a6aumk8bjbhhb9aaa6hg60f19c%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics

If you know of a meeting that should be on this calendar, please post an issue here, including the meeting name, dates, location, and URL.

Good sources of information regarding upcoming meetings include the following pages. Please note the edit mechanisms: as well as calendaring cosmology meetings in this repo, we should help keep the sources up to date by advertizing our meetings on them:

Event List

The time-ordered and hyper-linked event list linked to above is automatically generated from the calendar on a daily basis, using the notebook here and the travis-ci configuration here. The events list itself is not to be edited: the calendar is the primary source. Issues and pull requests regarding the way the event list is made are welcome on the repo here.

About Cosmology Meetings

This is an experimental project. To help out with it (eg by helping maintain the Google calendar), please contact Phil Marshall or open a GitHub issue. This website's URL is https://lsstdesc.github.io/CosmologyMeetings/ and the repo supporting it can be found at https://github.com/LSSTDESC/CosmologyMeetings.

Workflow for Calendar Editors:

  1. Look for an open issue and see if it contains the information needed to make a calendar event (name, dates, location, URL). Query the issue submitter for more details if needed.
  2. Open Google Calendar and, if you haven't already, import the Cosmology Meetings calendar using its ICS URL.
  3. Add an event to the Cosmology Meetings calendar. Please include its URL in the "description" field, and follow the "Meeting Name, Location" format for the "summary" field.
  4. Close the issue, thanking the submitter.
