Read information from the HACC sims.
Extract the appropriate orientation information (halo orientations, radial vectors between subhalos and parent halos, etc.).
Apply halo-based IA similar to halotools methods.
Resources and skills needed
Those with experience working with HACC sims or reading in the data.
Anyone is welcome. If you just want to learn more about what we're doing, that's fine.

The main work will be focused on reading in snapshot information that includes orientation information. From there we will work on assigning galaxy alignments using halo-based methods (similar to those used in halotools).
