The WL working group may be transitionning towards pipette as a front-end for a parsl-based pipeline engine, the mass-mapping pipeline can serve as a demonstrator of this infrastructure.
The goal of this issue is to replace descpipe and use pipette instead as the engine, re-using if possible some of the stantard pipeline stages already defined for the other pipelines (for instance the 3x2pt)
