Kate would like to address panelists with their first name in emails to be casual, and isn't concerned about name order, capitalization, etc.
We often sort panelist information by last name for pickup, it was difficult this year because we didn't split first and last names. Last names in most of modern US culture are fairly stable, whereas monikers change more often, making sorting and finding harder in a physical interaction.
Need to put more thought into how to gather name information on the call.
