Thanks for the offer! Compared to other packages, Catmandu::Exporter::Table is in good shape so there is little to do. You could experiment with #1 if you like. In fact, this module is just a thin layer on top of Text::MarkdownTable so some changes may better fit there.

A added an edges option in Text::MarkdownTable 0.3.1 - a simple patch would be to also support it in Catmandu::Exporter::Table
