Gundam Build

Description

See Screenshots folder for website look. This is a sale site for Gundam models. Pages include main page and 3 product pages. The main page includes a search bar and animated carousel. The products pages contain 4 individual product cards with buttons. The buttons lead to the specific product page, with all information about the product. At time of screenshots, pictures were not all in place. There are 4 different photos for the 4 products.

Brand Appearance

All detail and colour is contained in the images and logo. The rest of the website is meant to be simple and easy to navigate, using only neutral tones.

Installation

The pattern library is a Jekyll & Patternbot based application, so it requires Ruby to be installed.

☛ Follow these instructions to get Ruby & Bundler installed

  1. Navigate to the correct folder in Terminal. Use GitHub Desktop’s Repository > Open in Termal command.
  2. Type the following command bundle install

Starting the server

The pattern library is a Jekyll & Patternbot based application that requires a running Terminal instance.

  1. Navigate to the correct folder in Terminal. Use GitHub Desktop’s Repository > Open in Termal command.
  2. Type the following command: bundle exec jekyll serve
  3. View the functional website at: http://localhost:4000
  4. View the pattern library at: http://localhost:4000/pattern-library/
