can I identify the percentage of 50% from hole GPU usage?

like just using 25% or 60% or 80% from GPU.

is this possible? if not. can you add it to the new release?

At the moment that's not possible, if you are in Windows you can modify the priority of lolMiner program... that could probably help

Hey I had the same question - as I have a laptop and would like to mine at lower rates to keep the GPU temps under control. Currently the only way I can do that is to use the laptop on battery. How can I change the priority of a program in Windows? Thanks for the help in advance, jgonzis.

Also was thinking that in Windows - changing the priority - doesn't it change the CPU priority? CPU is hardly being used by lolMiner anyway... so this might not make a difference?

I know a potential fix for NVIDIA GPUs.

  1. Open NVIDIA control panel on Windows.
  2. Go to 3D Settings > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings.
  3. Select lolMiner from the drop down menu or click on 'Add' if lolMiner is not listed. Then select NVIDIA GPU as preferred processor.
  4. Under '3. Specify the settings for this program', go to 'Power management mode' under features and select 'Optimal power'.

This should use minimal power. Here's a visual if you need it: image
