Hive Detects RX550 4GB but it hangs in all miners #849

Guys,

I have 4 GPUs RX550 4GB all of then are in te same situation. The hive os is recognizing then when the system starts, but when the miner starts they hang.

Follow an example when I was trying to mine ETC using nanominer:

Another issue on lolminer mining ERGO ###################################################################### likely the card is dead, a rig reboot is recommended. ######################################################################

It's strange because these cards are new and they were working fine this week. I was mining ERGO. My rig has 1 RTX 3080TI 12GB (ergo); 1 GTX 1660 6GB (ETH); 4 RX550 4GB (ergo). My hive os is up to date. And all miners are also. I tried to mine ETC and ERGO but I found the same issue.

Do you know if I should do something??

I would remove any OC settings from those cards and mine at default to make sure they are ok. Once they are mining, then you can start making incremental changes to the OC. I ran into an issue once where the only way I could fix it was to delete the OC template and re-create it.

I tried many things (reinstall the hive os, older miner versions, different coins, mining with just one card etc), but what you recommended solve the problem!

I really appreciate your help!!

I'm glad you got fixed. I still don't know exactly what happens but it is definitely a bug in HiveOs that has not been addressed in a while.
