GUI - Bug - Legitimate Rocksmith copy not working with RSMods #128

I have a legit Steam copy of Rocksmith but whenever I try to launch the GUI it tells me that it is a pirated copy. I've tried verifying and reinstalling Rocksmith, and also tried reinstalling RSMods but to no avail. It was working not that long ago but all of a sudden it stopped. Screenshot 2022-09-10 183537

Workaround:

Right Click on Rocksmith 2014 go to Properties -> Betas and enter JustInCaseWeNeedIt

Complete the update to revert to the previous version. Enter Properties -> Updates and change automatic updates to "Only update this game when I launch it". Then, only launch the game ever again when Steam is in "Offline Mode", or follow the steps laid out here to skip the auto update.

When I follow those step, it lets me load the game but when I get to choosing my profile the game just crashes, any suggestions? I have tried running as admin, in compatibility mode.
