Trying to use Sound Packs #177

Closed RubberDave closed 10 months ago

RubberDave commented 10 months ago

I get the following error when trying to Replace sound files. I already have an installation of WWise in C:\Program Files (x86)\Audiokinetic\Wwise v2013.2.10 build 4884 but I can't see a General Config menu to make sure it is set correctly. At a guess this I'm assuming this is because I have Rocksmith and RSMods installed to my H Drive instead of C, but that might just be a starting point for troubleshooting.

See the end of this message for details ************** Exception Text ************** System.ApplicationException: Could not find an installed compatible version of Audiokinetic Wwise. Have you actually tried to open wwise once?(it will ask you to accept lic agreement to work) It should set %wwiseroot% variable in global PATH afterwards. But iirc you can configure wwise path in RSMods as well?

That worked, thank you! I guess I must have unwittingly cleared some caches at some point as that was the installation I used to use when using the old RSToolkit. Anyway, thanks so much for your quick response!

Regards

Dave
