Slow performance of My Favorites #133

We have maybe ten dozen jobs in our Jenkins installation. If I select View: All and click Refresh, the list of jobs refreshes fairly quickly. If I set several dozen as a favourite, select View: My Favorites, and click Refresh, the list of jobs refreshes very slowly.

Why does is appear to take far longer to refresh the small list of favourite jobs than it does to refresh the large list of all jobs?
