Both search features use fuzzy searching. Since the data they are searching for is different, their options are also quite different.
It is intended that you would use $
(suffix match) or =
(exact match) in your search query to search exactly what you are looking for.
If you have any suggestion on how it can be better, please let me know.
More extended search characters.
Thanks. I was expecting the main search (that looks into more than boxes) to return a superset of the box search from the conformance page. It's a bit confusing as it is.
It's a bit hard to keep the balance there. It was presenting more results before we decided to make it more aggressive on the results. Our decision was based on trial-and-error :)
