=== TUTORIAL ===

So you wanna also extract the code for yourself, right? Here's a basic rundown: You're gonna need:

First, open ILSpy and press the folder button.

Then, navigate to your Genesis Project folder in Steam, and find a folder called "The Genesis Project_Data." In it, navigate to Managed...

...and simply open the file called Assembly-CSharp.dll. It should be all the way at the top. Boom, there you have it! The code is now accesible. You can right-click the Assembly file and save it in a folder to store it somewhere else, and for easier editing with other programs.

=== EDITING THE CODE DIRECTLY ===

Now that you have the code, you can look at it and figure out a lot of the inner workings... ... but let's say you want an easier way of editing it, from inside the program.

This is where dnSpy comes in!

It's pretty similar to the other guide! Open dnSpy, and select File, then Open.

Open the file called Assembly-CSharp.dll, like before. You get access to everything you saw on the other guide, but now, by rightclicking on it and editing the class, you can modify it directly.

After modifying it, you can save whatever changes you made by going to File, and selecting Save Module.

Remember to keep a backup! Happy modding, folks!
