Badge feedback should fade away #326

After earning a badge, the notification should appear for 3-4 seconds and then disappear. Currently it shows up and stays visible until you navigate away.

How about an X they click on? I think it might fade away before they click it.

For the notification style, it seems to me that it would make more sense to have it fade away, so that the user is not required to interact with it. Is having it fade away more complicated to implement?

No, it's easier, I just thought the user might want to see what the notification said before it disappeared.

Yeah, I'd lean towards fade away and we should just make sure we set a reasonable amount of time before it disappears so that it's enough time to process that it is there.

Cause if you earn a bunch of badges and each time you have to go click to close I think it might get a little much.
