Matching Lonely Elderly with Shelter Animals for Playdates

Concept 💡

We are going to make an application for lonely elderly who can have a great day with a shelter animal. The elderly can click between multiple dogs who pop up in their screen. If they think a dog (pupple) is a great match for them, they can invite the dog. On a playdate they can take walks, play with each other or just be together; it depends on the age and character from the dog. Some dogs are young, full with energy and need long walks while other dogs are older with less energy and can't do long walks. Our goal is to give both the eldery and the dog a day full of fun. And the great part is; if they match perfectly, the elderly can adopt the dog from the shelter!

Installation 🛠

If you install our application, you need the following:

• Node.js
• Npm
• Express
• MongoDB Atlas en MongoDB Compass
• Ejs

Step 1: Clone this Repository

git clone https://github.com/MelvinIdema/blok-tech-team.git

Step 2: Installing packages

Open the file in the terminal and run the code:

npm install

Step 3: Start the server

Run the following code:

gulp
