Setting to change font of diagrams #58

I'm having trouble distinguishing "l" (lower case L) from "I" (uppercase i) in diagrams. You may have a solution in mind, but I would like to at least have an "appearance" setting for my login. Today, only a switch for light/dark mode exists.

Thanks for the feedback @joebologna ! We are constantly working to improve our platform and your feedback is invaluable.

Could you expand on what an "appearance" setting would look like? Would this be in line with being able to select different fonts?

You’re welcome. Yes, selecting different fonts is what I had in mind. I know doing something like this is tricky. I don’t think skinning the entire app is warranted, but being able to see the difference between I and l in the Mermaid editor and diagrams generated is what I’d like. Skinning the entire app isn’t something I’d be interested in.

I was able to use some CSS to accomplish what I was looking for. Maybe this is sufficient, it’s just not obvious how to do it. That being said, just adding a styling feature to control the appearance of text in the Mermaid editor might be sufficient. I’d imagine doing so is rather straightforward.

Thank you for the clarification! We have on our roadmap font selection for the Editor. Not sure of the exact timeframe, but we will keep you updated.
