From Heroku's pricing calculator, running two Performance M tier dynos would be, at most $500/month. Note that Heroku prorates to the second so the actual cost is ~$0.347/hour per dyno.

@antidipyramid will note the price difference between our current costs and performance tier.

@camachoo We're currently running 4 2x Professional dynos at a rate if ~$0.06/hour and max of $50/month.

Switching to 2 of the lowest level Performance tier would be at most $500/month, compared to our current max of $200/month. On an hourly basis, Performance tier dynos are 5x more expensive than our current setup.
