When using SNe at high redshift, the bandpasses of the filters used in the survey objects are at wavelength where the SN sncosmo model is not defined anymore. This makes sncosmo.realize_lcs crash with the following error:
bandpass 'megacampsf::g' [3990, .., 5800] outside spectral range [3997.1, .., 18386.7].
