A request to include some simple analytical functions to produce model light curves for variable stars. A sine curve with user control over the amplitude, frequency, and phase would be good enough for many types of variables. A repeating inverse top hat function for eclipsing systems would also be nice, with control over the period, eclipse depth, and eclipse duration. Having the ability to create combined models would also be nice, e.g. light curves that have both a sine curve and inverse top hat component.
