Describe the feature

Instead of ranks being directly purchased, have them be obtained through money donated. Ranks are pretty useless right now, so there isn't much incentive for people to actually buy them. Instead, I propose that ranks be done based on overall donations to Minehut.

Any purchases on credits would be added to the amount donated. Additionally, any credits spent would be converted to IRL currency and added to the total amount. So if someone spends 800 credits, that adds $5 on their total. People would have to be told to enter their username prior to any purchases to ensure every purchase is logged.

They would be done based on the total money spent on Minehut on any accounts that are linked to a specific Minecraft account.

If someone spends a total of $1 -> $15, then they are given the VIP rank. If someone spends $16 -> $30, then they are given the PRO rank. If someone spends $31 -> $100 then they are given the LEGEND rank. If someone spends $100+, then they are given the PATRON rank.

How the feature is useful

People would be able to obtain ranks through overall purchases instead of a single donation. Ranks would become something to show how much someone has supported Minehut.

The prices that are listed are of course not final, they could be increase since people's main concerns seems to be a lot of high donators abusing /ad.

This wouldn't matter. It would be based on the amount of credits spent, meaning that if you spend the credits you've earned through voting it would contribute to your total.
