Platform

Bedrock **Describe the feature** Make it easier to join your own server **How the feature is useful** This will benefit the bedrock community and this will let bedrock users, Join their own server just like how the java user join the server directly to the server, and it stops the long wait into the lobby for it to load and then to the server that for me take about 20 minis --- **Use 👍 and 👎 reactions to indicate you agree or disagree with this suggestion! Feel free to discuss the idea in the comments.** 👍

Don't think this is possible at the moment. Bedrock doesn't support subdomains let alone domains. I have 0 clue how they got their domain (bedrock.minehut.com) to work. I think they customi... either way back on topic. They would have to customize the plugin for EVERY server that wants a domain. Or somehow make an automated updater. Either way, don't think this will happen any time soon.

What do you mean bedrock doesn't support domains or subdomains? There are many Minecraft Bedrock servers that have their own custom domains.

There is also this other server host, which I'm not sure if I can say but it starts with an A, that supports using the normal subdomain they use when joining java servers with Bedrock too. So looks like it is possible.

@Tringlle I don't know where you got this information from but it's very invaild.

On non console versions of the Bedrock edition of the game, you can add custom servers (non Microsoft promoted servers) and that allows you to use number addresses and domains, please do your research before making these comments.

It's possible and something we definitely want to do :+1:

There's more thought which has to go into it before we want to push out a feature like this, so we're still working on the idea internally, but it is something we have thought about.

Surprised I didn't see this before, but yes. servername.bedrocksubdomain.gg is very needed. Which would also allow custom subdomains. 👍🏼

i know im super late but you can also add custom servers on console, you just need to change the port in your console settings to something specific so minecraft would allow you to add custom servers.
