I cannot replicate this on google chrome. It just goes up by like 100mb cause it's a new tab that is opened. It goes up like 100mb when I open any new website on a new tab so that's normal for me.
Having Hardware Acceleration off causes your CPU to spike when using minehut's website. To fix just go into chrome settings and turn Hardware Acceleration On.

Describe the bug When I first arrived at the Minehut website, I observed that my pc applications began to perform poorly. I rapidly learned that my browser (Edge) was using up to 80% of my CPU when viewing the Minehut website. This isn't the case on any other website.
To reproduce Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

Additional context I had other friends test this also and they came upon the same issue of high CPU usage but we figured out having hardware acceleration on resolves this issue for whatever reason.
