2 years ago The lag issue isn’t actually caused by ram, its the cpu. I help manage a server outside minehut with only 8gb ram and 97 plugins yet it runs 20 tps with only ~4 gb ram use even with players generating chunks

2 years ago I have never had issues with RAM on Minehut. Just don’t use like a billion plugins and it’s usually fine.

Increase the ram on server plans How the feature is useful
This feature will benefit everyone because with increased ram on the server, people won't be limited to just using skript and can actually do more with the server, + it'll make server networks better. Since minehut is known for "free server hosting", you can't really do much with 1GB server ram. Even servers on MHU (Minehut unlimited) will have lag and it will make plans more worth it when the server ram increases, especially with increased server ram on the free plan for like modpacks or just starting to run your own server. This will make users wanna keep using minehut (with the paid plans) when they have better ram, for example, gen servers, even with 10GB Server Ram, they will still lag from like 150 players. Most of the minehut community wants this to be increased as they will be able to do more and can actually bring more catagories into play without worrying to optimize the skripts/plugins. In overall, this will make paying for server plans more better.
