  • Not yet---based on conversation with Chi Fan. I'll just make the db a proof of concept.

• [x] What's the timeline for collaborating with Bob and Hua for putting the db into production?

  • in the 10 days before 2019-08-02
  • Or later, depending on funding?

• [x] How is the RDA already equipped to "ship" images to users?

  • This seems rather unclear. E.g., images won't have a stable URL? Why not?
  • I was told to table this question by assuming that users who need the data will have ssh access to casper.ucar.edu.
  • We only need a proof of concept. Philip's priority is maintaining a central repository for the binary files.

• [x] How are users to access their submitted images for a preliminary validation of metadata?

  • This issue is address in #6.
