When selecting a taxon either from autosuggest or using taxon number, for those cases it should also be made sure that the taxon number source is added to the specimen table, export and post-processed file. Taxa in the NHMA Ent taxon tree that have taxon numbers (keys) assigned also have the source string specified. If this is missing then there will be no successful match and this would result in a duplicate taxon.
NOTE: Alternatively this could potentially also be mitigated by changing settings in NHMA Specify that exempts this field from being taken into consideration when trying to match.
