I went into the collection and looked at the specimen. They were easy to find since there is only 1 box of Aphodius coenosus. In the future, however, it would still be good to have JPEGs to look at so we don't have to search for the actual objects in these cases.
Only the specimens that were flagged as an MSO are MSOs. The ones in between that only got the comment "Multiple specimens on pin" actually have only 1 specimen. This appears to be a bug of the note field.
Corrected this in the file by deleting wrong "Multiple specimens on pin" comments, moved the file from "Being checked - Files with problems" to "Ready for OpenRefine". It can now be regularly processed and imported into Specify.
In a DigiApp export for dung beetles, there are 10 specimens next to each other that have the note "multiple specimens on one pin", so they should be flagged as MSOs. However, only the first two and the last one are flagged as an MSO. Either it was forgotten to flag them, or there was an issue with the notes field and the note was kept in the database even though it was deleted from the app (see #497 ).

We need to find out which of the two is the case, either by looking at the images or by going into the collection and checking the actual specimens. For this, it would be convenient if we had a JPEG database of all images with associated barcodes like we do for Botany.
