General info

The repo contains the source code of the Woof application. The Woof application is an iOS app that provides the opportunity to connect dog owners and pet sitters to build trusted relationships between them. You can use the application in 2 modes: like a pet owner or like a pet sitter. As a pet owner, you can find a sitter for your pet(s) and manage a schedule of your pets' walks, which makes the process of caring for your lovely doggies easier. As a pet sitter, you can provide the service of walks using your own schedule, prices, and other requirements, if needed.

Installation

For version 0.4.0

Pre-requisites:

Installed TestFlight. If you don't how to install the TestFlight please follow the next steps:

  1. Click here to find the TestFlight application in the AppStore.
  2. Click Download to install the TestFlight application.
  3. After installation, open the application. A TestFlight notification appears asking for permission to send notifications. Click Allow to receive notifications about app updates.
  4. On the Welcome screen, click the Continue button.

Installation process:

  1. You can now install the Woof mobile app following the link below: https://testflight.apple.com/join/mGNJXIwt
  2. The invitation screen for the Woof application will appear with a description of the application. Click Accept to accept the invitation to our beta testing program.
  3. After accepting the invitation, click Install to install the Woof application.
  4. You can then open the Woof application by clicking the Open button.
  5. Finally, you will see a screen with the application version and changelog, here we publish what has been updated in the current version. Click Next to continue.
  6. Click Start Testing to complete the installation process.
  7. Now you can use the Woof application. Choose role and enjoy the application.

For versions 0.1.0 - 0.3.1

Pre-requisites: installed Xcode with the version specified under the current dev environment.

  1. Go to the Releases section in the current repository.
  2. Select the latest one or any specific release you want to install.
  3. Download the archive in the format that best suits your needs from the attached Assets. (If your browser doesn't automatically unzip the archive, do it yourself by right-clicking on the downloaded archive and select Unzip).
  4. Navigate into the downloaded folder and open the Woof.xcodeproj file in Xcode.
  5. Select your device as a run destination for the project. If you don't know how to run the app on a real device, please check the documentation.
  6. Press the Run button.
  7. Profit! Enjoy the application. 🥳
