closing commit_editor with kind = "vsplit" causes error #1347

Description

setting commit_editor = { kind = "vsplit" } in neogit setup causes an error when closing the commit editor

Error executing vim.schedule lua callback: vim/_editor.lua:0: nvim_exec2(): Vim(buffer):E86: Buffer 6 does not exist

does not occur if show_staged_diff = false or if closing via :q or <C-w>q

NVIM v0.10.0 Build type: Release LuaJIT 2.1.1693350652

Operating system and version

NixOS 24.11.20240524.bfb7a88 and macOS 14.5

Steps to reproduce

  1. run nvim -nu minimal.lua in a git repo
  2. :Neogit
  3. cc
  4. close commit editor with q, <C-c><C-c> or <C-c><C-k>

Expected behavior

commit_editor and diff view close without error

Actual behavior

errors and only commit editor closes

I merged a fix last night - feel free to reopen if its still a problem.
