async/oid related exception thrown when initing a repo on windows

Neovim version

Operating system and version

win10 22h2

Steps to reproduce

open neo git status when not in a git repo
- get prompted to init repository by neogit
- choose y

Gives a big exception. See 'actual behaviour' for details.
