SteamOS Twitch log-in issue #148

I'm on Linux (SteamOS) in desktop mode. I download the appimage and install it. Works fine. I press continue. The pop up link for twitch opens the Discover app trying to get me to download Firefox. I already have Firefox and it is set as my default browser. If I then press 'launch' it only brings up the discover app again.

Does this also happen if you run xdg-open https://noitatogether.com/api/auth/login (or for any other https URL?) from a terminal?

As a general workaround, you can open https://noitatogether.com/api/auth/login in your browser manually after clicking 'login with twitch.tv' if it fails to open automatically
