I found two mods that break Noita Together: Risk of Items and Armory: Redux.
I had a problem where other characters besides the local character you control would never teleport to the spawn point after the run starts. They would be completely motionless for the entire run, while on that player's screen they are playing normally.
I went though my mod list and after removing Risk of Items by Evaisa, and Armory: Redux by I am at war with nature, Noita Together started working as intended.
I do have the appropriate redistributable. Results the same whether beta branch was used or not.
