Hm ok, so more info, I tried slapping an RX 550, which I personally doubt would be supported, but I've heard some people saying it does work on the RX 550, I tried it in Witcher 3 on both Vega 7 and RX 550, the frame gen was still grayed out in both attempts.
And in BG3 which is not really tested, it still gives off the original error from the title of the post, now I'm not really so much interested in that, but rather if Frame Gen was supposed to be working on Witcher with the RX 550 or the iGPU.
Thanks in advance!

You need an RTX graphics card meaning 20, 30, 40s series of Nvidia cards not RX.
I don't know a list of supported cards or community tested games *Edit: I did download The Witcher 3 and had no luck either
Regardless of that, back to hardware and the game, I'm using an iGPU yikes(Edit: Also tried with a LOW end GPU, the RX 550, also no luck), might be that but I'm not sure, it's the Ryzen 5 4600G's Vega 7 and the game was Baldur's Gate 3
