Post-implementation of FSR3 on MSFS it's causing random crashes during flights.

Build 0.60

HAGS on HDR on Vsync off Core Isolation Off RTX 3090

Not sure if anyone has mentioned yet but Resizable bar being enabled has some impact on this or it's not related?

MJ12MJ commented 6 months ago

I don't think it's related to resize bar, same thing happens with Hogwarts Legacy too, driver just crash after some time.

Disorientator commented 6 months ago

Had a 3+ hour MSFS session yesterday with no issues.

HAGS On HDR off Vsync On (driver-level) Core Isolation Off 3700x with an RTX 3080 @ 1440p (Max settings @ DLSS Quality) Resizable Bar is disabled for MSFS (through NV Inspector) as it doesn't seem to improve performance.

Maybe it's something else? (or a combination of factors)

I have the same GPU, are you using Studio or Game drivers?

Game drivers.

12700K/3080TI/36GB RAM, nothing overclocked. It makes it about 90 minutes into a flight and then crashes w/ a "DGXI Uknown" error. I repaired all my redistributables and did a cmd sfc/scannow. Still. Works brilliantly before it crashes, but I just can't get it to run a full flight. HAGS on, Vsync on in NVCP, CORE Isolation off.

No idea.

Honestly, it's not worth the headache, the software works but the crashes are highly annoying, at this point I prefer to wait a few months for a future software evolution of this mod (if it arrives, since the author it's not paid for us and he's probably investing he's free time for us) or even better a native support by the developers which is still expected for many recent games, we just have to wait and be patient. Definitely revolutionary for those who cannot afford a 40 series for many reasons.

Encountered this error tonight after a 3.5 hour flight. However, the error did not occur until after going to the sim's menu and selecting END FLIGHT, which was well after landing, taxiing to the gate and unloading. It's as if the driver faulted while the sim was unloading the flight data, the rendered scenery, etc. During the actual flight, the mod worked perfectly and smoothly.

I have this issue but ONLY when I'm using OBS. When OBS is open, shows a flickering but there is no flickering on my monitor, then when I click on Fly, then I get this message, or when I go to Content Manager too.
