Requesting support for "Poor guy" cards (Non-RTX cards)

That includes:

+1. Would love to see even AMD cards get support as well.

Not possible, its using dlss pipeline

Then what about without any DLSS pipeline ?

Then it means it's not FREE 🥲

https://github.com/Nukem9/dlssg-to-fsr3/issues/153#issuecomment-1869672654 I know for a fact it works in cyberpunk 2077, witcher 3, remnant 2.

LukeFZ has already said he will release it for free on nexus just like this mod after it is in a state where the worst bugs are ironed out so either wait or help beta test it.

Besides Puredark is also working on FSR3 mods which will work on every card.

This mod is specifically targeted at 20/30 series RTX GPUs and uses streamline which has a GPU check so if anything blame NVIDIA and not the mod author.

I don't understand why you don't stop to think for a moment.

This is a DLSS3 to FSR3 mod. The whole benefit of doing this is so that you can use DLSS upscaling while using FSR3.

You can't use DLSS on non-RTX cards. This mod is not going to be of much benefit to you.

What you want is just simply FSR3, I guess. But keep in mind FSR3 doesn't even work well with GTX10 Pascal architecture cards to begin with, as they have weak Asynchronous Compute support.

Any REGULAR FSR3 mod or official implementation will serve you just fine, you do not need this mod to be compatible with your card.

LukeFZ is already making such a mod, be patient.

There's nothing to blame Nvidia for in this particular situation.

DLSS is not supported on non-RTX GPUs, that's it. There are no ifs and buts about it.

This mod, of which the MAIN BENEFIT is allowing you to use DLSS Upscaling in combination with FSR3, is practically useless if you can't already use DLSS.

There will be other mods (like LukeFZ's mods) for people who just want FSR3 itself.

Sure. 1050 ti in witcher 3 medium graphics settings. without FSR3 and FSR2 = 43 FPS with FSR2 Quality = 67 FPS with FSR3 = 70 FPS with FSR3 and FSR2 Quality = 101 FPS

Framerate is not the whole story, there's also frame pacing and latency to consider. Anyway:

It depends on the game and how loaded the async compute queue already is versus how much more loaded it gets with FSR3 active. FSR3 has an inherent cost that is limiting its usefulness on GTX10 (Pascal) cards. At no point did I say it can't work at all. Just doesn't work that well.

These aren't just my words, this is based on AMD's own documentation. They say that for Nvidia cards, FSR3 is OFFICIALLY supported by at least RTX20 cards, but only recommended on RTX30 and above.

Regardless: as you noted yourself, you're using FSR3 with FSR2 upscaling, not DLSS upscaling. Which was my main point, you ain't using DLSS anyway.

There is a video on youtube that shows how to run frame generation on a GTX1000 card by using dummy's nvapi64.dll and dlssg-to-fsr3 mod.

p.s. Universal version is available without dummy
