Is this abandoned or does ocamlpro have any intention of coming back to it, especially after the new metaprogramming features that are planned are released? This would be a very nice addition to ocaml.

This project was an early experiment and we don't plan to resurrect in a short-term period. However, we still keep the idea in mind for a longer-term period, as we really would love to have a decent replacement to numpy in OCaml.
