Huge lag after browsing Kart Shop items, probable memory leak #18

Game and eventually PC slowed down after I looked through a lot of kart items. PC started heating up before I closed out of the game; leaving the store didn't fix it, and I couldn't get through the <1 FPS lag to switch districts.
