During the evidence round of the CJ, the toons' pan on the scale clips into the stand of the structure.
It is currently unknown if this affects the hitbox, so further testing will have to be done.
Edit: After further testing, it can be confirmed that the hitbox is affected. The hitbox is the model itself, meaning that when it clips into the stand like in the image below, you have to still hit the pan itself. This can lead into the evidence being blocked by the stand.
This screenshot is taken from the end of the battle, as the pan constantly gets pushed by evidence. The cogs throwing evidence into their pan will cause the toons' pan to move in reverse.
