This is a problematic text, although the typed version does follow the edition fairly well. The problem lies in the fact that edition compiles both the text by al-Jāḥiẓ and its line-by-line refutation by Abū Jaʿfar al-Iskāfī, as it is preserved in Ibn Abī l-Ḥadīd's Nahj al-Balagha (itself part of the corpus: 0656IbnAbiHadid.SharhNahjBalagha -- see EI2 article for Abu Jaʿfar al-Iskāfī). I think it is best to delete this entire second part from the digital text. We could also make a separate file for this second text but as it only survives as a quotation in Ibn Abī Ḥadīd, I would suggest to not make a duplicate.
