At the beginning of volume 5 a title is missing(would be page 3, but digital text only starts at page 5). In volume 13 the editor has regularly inserted pages of historical info in the body text. This info is not based on any manuscript so I have marked this with the editor-tag. There is a strange situation in volume 8 in that page 215 notes that here ends the part on Persia in the book and that then follows the Syrian part, but two pages later the edition simply picks up again with Khorasani and Transoxanian poets. Perhaps a sign of significant manuscript variation? I have simply followed the edition, but this is something worthy of further investigation. Some biographies are very lengthy and include subdivisions of poetry by rhyming letter, but I have not tagged these divisions to keep intact the biography. NOTE OF THE REVIEWER (HRH): A few changes in the headers and their levelling made. Titles that were tagged incompletely corrected. Header tags for subsections of biographical entries replaced with #:~section:. Redundant tags removed. Editorial sections removed. The missing title at the beginning of vol 5 reported by the annotator typed, and the editorial parts in vol 13 removed.
