How do the vehicle controls feel? Too slide-y? Too fast/slow? Feels great! and from the video footages i looked up, speed feels pretty accurate.

Would something like an energy system (would deplete with each task completed) work well here, to create consequences and/or resource management? My first immediate thought when opening the game was "oh it's a Factorio type of game" so I assumed resource management/ base building was the intended core gameplay.

If a story were to be added, would a large, complex narrative, or a small character-based one be better? Assuming the game is still mostly about base building/ resource management I think environmental story telling would be fitting to this game. Like not forcing the player to go through dialogues and cutscenes, but rather "embed" the story in a casual way which doesn't alter the resource management game experience.

In reference to the above question, I think a dating sim set between various researchers on the Kharkovchanka might be hilarious. Would this be a bad idea to pursue? Here's my idea to fit that into the game: How about making the researchers a type of resource in the game, they complete tasks you assign them, and you can schedule their shifts and their lodgings, and, if 2 researchers spend enough time in proximity they "start dating", each getting a "happy" buff where their work efficiency is higher; if you schedule them to work different shifts apart where they don't get to see each other or introduce a 3rd single researcher in their proximity, they "break up", gaining a "sad" debuff that makes them make errors in their job and waste resources.

Also for reference, I have to bring up my favorite game: Oxygen Not Included. A very well structured and comprehensive management game with a complex world narrative, and amazing sounds and art.

Should this game have music? Or is the quiet rumbling of the engine actually enjoyable on its own? ambient music and soundscape would be nice
