  1. From my first playthrough, I believe that the dialogue has already given enough information to me that I was able to imagine the world in which this game takes place. I imagine that there is an empire that is on its last leg, and people are revolting and trying to wipe rid of this empire. Meanwhile, some are trying to flee from the violence in hopes to find a peaceful. On the other hand, you, the shopkeeper, just so happens to be in the middle of this mess because of your status as a vendor and you’ll encounter more people with different problems, and it is up to you to make the choices you deem right. I’ve been able to imagine this from just three dialogues, so yes, I believe a full-fledged narrative could be accomplished this way.
  2. The minimal UI is perfect enough I find. I don’t think the game must be in 3D, but I think it requires more indications of the consequences of your actions rather than just your ammo, ore, rations and money counter going up/down. Perhaps planets exploding or turning red due to war to indicate that your actions cause this event to happen or so on. Something along those lines.
  3. The narrative currently feels just right. I get a sense that there are two sides and I have to choose one or the other. Additionally, this leaves room for more things to be added to the game world and story.

1.The game is meant to slowly feed the narrative to the player through these small dialogue interactions. From the limited amount that you’ve seen, do you think that a full-fledged narrative could be accomplished this way? Yes, I believe a full narrative is achievable!

2.Would this fare better as a 3D game with an actual shop environment? Or is the minimal UI a style of its own? I really liked the UI style of the game! I do not think it is necessary to change it as a 3D game.

3.Should the narrative stakes be lowered? In other words, is the story’s scope and worldbuilding too vast? I think introducing the universe and its plot at the beginning of the game would be the only detail that I suggest you to add in your prototype.
