You can add VirtualTaboo to the list. URLError: <urlopen error [SSL: SSLV3_ALERT_HANDSHAKE_FAILURE] sslv3 alert handshake failure (_ssl.c:590)>
Works on Windows and returns error on Linux.
Great news everyone! I read in the patch notes for the latest version, Plex Media Server 1.18.2.2058 to be exact, and one of the items listed under Fixes:
I was having trouble with ManyVids, getting the infamous SSLv3 error. Updated to this version on Linux and was immediately able to use the ManyVids scraper! No code changes needed in the agent!! So try all those pesky SSLv3 sites and let's get a consensus to close this issue finally!!
Can confirm, Manyvids working as expected without any changes.
Anyone else have a chance to test this? I only run a Windows server. Would be nice to finally close this issue.
I tested Manyvids - 432754 and it did work.
Do the PornPros sites search and match and pull metadata for you? I personally have an issue when it pulls any URL for any PornPros site:
URLError: <urlopen error [SSL: SSLV3_ALERT_HANDSHAKE_FAILURE] sslv3 alert handshake failure (_ssl.c:590)>
I thought that was a universal error for all of us, but if the problem is just me (or a few of us), then I will work to resolve it on my end. For information sharing, I am running Plex 1.14.1.5488-cc260c476 on Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS. Basically I'm trying to determine if this is something that needs fixed in the Agent code, or in my server configuration... I'm leaning more toward server configuration.
